What media can be wiped?
Data can be removed from all digital media including CDs, tape stores, hard drivers (SCI and IDE), floppy drives, removable storage and floppy drives.
How does CITCR remove the data?
We can wipe the data at our facility or, if you prefer, before we remove the computers from your premises. Data is either overwritten using specialist software that meets the required standards or the media is destroyed. Our engineers are trained and have been CRB checked.
How is the data destruction guaranteed?
Once all of the data has been destroyed CITCR issues a destruction certificate. This is sufficient for auditors and the data protection act.
